From the Back Room of a Podiatry Clinic in Outback Australia to Practices Across the U.S.

The iOrthotics story began in 2009 in a regional Queensland podiatry clinic, where patients—especially in rural areas—faced long waits for orthotics due to delays and lab inconsistencies. Refusing to accept the status quo, two local podiatrists built an in-house solution focused on clinical standards and patient timelines.

What started in one clinic has since grown across Australia and into international markets—driven by clinician-led innovation, reliability, and a commitment to clinical excellence.

A Trusted U.S. Lab, Reinvented for Today’s Clinicians

Fast forward to 2023, when Performance Labs—an orthotics manufacturer serving U.S. clinicians since 1984—joined forces with iOrthotics. Based in New Jersey, Performance Labs was already known for its high standards and long-standing client relationships. The opportunity to modernize operations and expand offerings through this partnership made perfect sense.

Now operating as Performance Labs powered by iOrthotics, we’ve combined the best of both worlds: the trusted service and relationships of a U.S.-based lab with the streamlined, clinician-informed workflows of a global leader in orthotic innovation. Together, we now partner with over 1,000 clinics worldwide.
